•  Manages delivery procedures prior to arranging shipments, confirms client orders, and examines levels of inventory and delivery needs to guarantee timely and effective delivery.
  • Schedules inbound/outbound shipments on the vehicles and assign drivers daily delivery runs.
  • Ensure that the business's high standards for customer support and operating efficiency are met and/or surpassed on a daily basis.
  • Maintains and inspects the scheduling databases to verify that data is accessible for reliable delivery forecasts.
  • Respond to customer requests for shipment details and evaluate consumer delivery complaints.
  • Provide support to both internal and external clients
  • Assists carriers in resolving delivery concerns and participates in the delivery incident investigations and root cause review.
  • Processes incoming calls about delivery incidents and sends critical information to relevant stakeholders in order to respond to incidents.
  • Takes part in the investigation of product quality inquiries and delivery shortages.
  • Maintain adequate appropriate integrity of data and maintain the shipment tracking system.
  •  Ensures that shipments are completed appropriately and promptly.
  •  Focuses on establishing dispatch-related reports.
  • Accountable for adhering to and complying with specified safety measures.
  •  Responds to unanticipated supply disruptions and terminal issues by delivering loading guidance to carriers.
  •  Investigates and resolves loading issues in collaboration with carriers, dispatchers, and loading terminals.
  •  Monitoring contractual volume and supply allotment to ensure appropriate supply of product is available for loading.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 1 year of truck dispatch experience required, as well as knowledge of US-Canadian Markets.
  • Strong computer abilities, including the ability to use computer software, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook and related software to assure the accuracy of all transactions and knowledge of Transportation Management Systems
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to produce emails and basic reports and a Complete understanding of the major load boards.
  • A safety-conscious attitude, particularly compliance with personal protective equipment
  • The ability to multitasking in a fast-paced setting is required.
  • The ability to address real problems and cope up with a wide range of changing circumstances.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service by promptly answering queries, delivering correct info, and responding to customers.
  • Maintaining a constant load of OOs or Carriers assigned to oneself in accordance with the client's expectations.
  • Must have prior dispatching experience for the following types of equipment:
  • Flat Bed trailers.
  • Experience with load boards, such as at a truck stop, is a plus.
  • Detention and layovers are being tracked properly.
  • The ability to make sound timely decisions.
  • Able to work either day or night shift.
  • The capability to read and comprehend written documents such as process manuals, reports, and letters.
  • Understanding of safety risks and the ability to respond effectively to protect workers and company property from physical and financial harm.
  • English proficiency.
  • Must be willing to work extra hours.
