Plan, implement, and oversee overall accounting strategy.
Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and unit revenue and expenditure.
Monitor and analyze accounting data.
Regularly prepare financial reports or statements.
Perform and oversee annual audits.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Oversee daily accounting activities.
Supervise and review staff work (cash/bank reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, etc.).
Maintain detailed financial records and files.
Review the general ledger for accurate postings.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and reports.
Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Support budget and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency.
