Global Star Group is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, along with analytical abilities, to drive sales and foster exceptional customer relationships. With a focus on the transportation and logistics sector, the Sales Representative will engage directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can thrive both independently and in a collaborative team environment. The Sales Representative will not have any team management responsibilities but will play a crucial role in our sales efforts, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

 

  • Identify and target potential clients within the transportation and logistics sector to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations of products and services to prospective clients.
  • Analyze customer needs and propose effective solutions that meet their requirements, ensuring value and satisfaction.
  • Negotiate terms of sales agreements, pricing, and contracts to achieve favorable outcomes for both clients and the company.
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage client interactions, and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align strategies and enhance customer offerings.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors affecting the transportation and logistics market.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote company services and expand professional contacts.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, ensuring transparency on sales targets and outcomes.
  • Continuously improve personal sales skills and enhance product knowledge to deliver the best service to clients.
