Responsibilities:

ISO Documentation and Implementation:

Assist the team in the documentation and implementation of ISO 14001 andISO 45001 standards.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards through continuous monitoring andupdating of procedures.

Site Audits:

Conduct regular site audits to identify and address gaps in the company’s and contractors’ documentation.
Prepare detailed audit reports and recommend corrective actions.

IEE and EIA Support:

Utilize basic experience and knowledge in IEE and EIA to support project assessments.
Assist in the preparation and review of environmental impact assessments and initial environmental examinations.

Daily EHS Support:

Provide day-to-day support to the EHS team in various matters, including incident reporting, risk assessments, and safety meetings.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and corrective actions.
Prepare and submit regular reports on EHS performance to management.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of environmental laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with periodic visits to site locations.

Qualifications:

BS Hons. in Environmental Sciences or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
Basic experience or knowledge in Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
ISO certification will be considered a plus.
