2D Game Designer

You will be instrumental in crafting the visual style and gameplay experience of our mobile games. You will work closely with artists, developers, and other designers to create visually appealing and engaging 2D game worlds that captivate players. This is a unique opportunity to shape the aesthetic and interactive elements of our games, with your creativity directly influencng our monthly releases.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop 2D game assets, including characters, environments, UI elements, and animations.
Collaborate with developers and artists to ensure that visual designs align with gameplay mechanics and overall game vision.
Create and iterate on level designs that are both fun and challenging for players.
Develop storyboards, concept art, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
Work within tight deadlines to ensure that all visual elements are ready for the monthly release schedule.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new game ideas and concepts.
Optimize 2D assets for performance across various mobile devices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a 2D Game Designer or similar role in a professional or indie game development setting.
Strong portfolio showcasing 2D game design, including character design, environments, and UI/UX elements.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or other industry-standard software.
Experience with animation and motion graphics for games.
Understanding of mobile game design principles, including user experience and interaction design.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, receiving and giving constructive feedback.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of what makes games visually appealing and fun to play.
Experience with Unity and knowledge of its 2D features is a plus.
