Accountant / Bookkeeping Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant and Bookkeeping Expert to join our team. This role requires expertise in managing financial records and accounts for our operations in the U.S. market, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and have experience with online stores and marketplaces.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily financial transactions including sales, refunds, and payroll preparation.
Enter revenue and expenses accurately to maintain up-to-date financial records.
Manage the chart of accounts and ensure all accounts are properly maintained.
Handle accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing of payments and collections.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and record deposit funds.
Integrate financial data with online platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Etsy.
Convert and transfer data between systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. standards.
Prepare for VAT and other tax responsibilities as required.
Generate regular reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Customize financial statements and manage inventory records.
Provide support during tax season and liaise with CPAs for accounting matters.
Reconcile bank accounts and provide daily updates on financial status.
File sales tax and prepare yearly financial reports.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an accountant or bookkeeper, specifically with QuickBooks software.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of online marketplaces and e-commerce accounting practices.
Familiarity with payroll systems and tax filing requirements in the U.S.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent is a plus.
