Barista

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Barista Specialist to join our team and elevate our coffee and cocktail offerings to new heights. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of both coffee and mixology, demonstrating proficiency in crafting exceptional beverages while providing outstanding customer service. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation:

Craft a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and pour-over.
Develop and execute innovative cocktail recipes, ensuring a unique and memorable experience for customers.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering inquiries, and offering recommendations based on preferences.
Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, creating a positive and memorable experience for patrons.

Quality Control:

Ensure consistency in the preparation of both coffee and cocktail beverages, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
Regularly evaluate the freshness and quality of coffee beans, ingredients, and garnishes.

Equipment Maintenance:

Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and cocktail-making tools.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of equipment.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, spirits, and other beverage-related items.
Collaborate with management to place orders and keep track of stock to prevent shortages.

Menu Development:

Contribute to the creation and enhancement of the coffee and cocktail menu, suggesting new and seasonal offerings.
Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the menu.

Training and Collaboration:

Train and mentor other team members in the art of coffee preparation and mixology.
Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure a seamless and coordinated service.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Barista or Mixologist with a focus on coffee and cocktails.
Extensive knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and cocktail ingredients.
Strong understanding of flavor profiles and the ability to create unique and appealing beverages.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage preparation.
