We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile financial transactions including invoicing, payments, and receipts.
- Maintain and update financial records ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Handle invoice processing, and expense tracking, and oversee accounts payable/receivable.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accounting software.
- Regularly reconcile bank.
- Support the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Spot financial inconsistencies and suggest corrective measures.
- Report on audit findings and propose enhancements to policies and procedures.
- Authorize and process online banking transactions.
- Responsible for managing daily payments and transactions from petty cash for multiple activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks or Odoo.
- Perform month-end closing activities.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Ability to work as part of team and independently.
- Ability to deliver high volume of quality work.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
