We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Architect with over 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing high availability and high-performance applications on AWS cloud infrastructure. Expertise in AWS services such as Step Functions, microservices architecture, security best practices, and performance monitoring is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure solutions that support high availability and performance requirements.
- Architect and deploy scalable microservices-based applications on AWS.
- Develop automation scripts and templates for cloud resource provisioning and management.
- Implement best practices for security and compliance in AWS environments.
- Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for AWS deployments.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and optimize application delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our cloud solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- Previous experience working on a 24x7 cloud or SaaS operation team.
- Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling ( Chef, Puppet, and Docker.)
- Working knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture patterns
- Experience with AWS Step Functions or similar workflow orchestration tools.
- Deep understanding of security best practices for cloud environments (IAM, encryption, network security).
- Proven experience in implementing monitoring and logging solutions using tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, Datadog, Pagerduty, Jenkin etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and mentor engineers.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar are preferred.
