We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager Quality to join our HVAC Equipment Factory team based at Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and quality control within the HVAC manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process inspections of Air Handling Units, Packaged Air Conditioning Units, and Air-Cooled units according to work orders, drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Fill out relevant QA/QC in-process inspection forms accurately and promptly.
- Raise non-conformity reports if there are any deviations from work order requirements.
- Suggest system improvements and amendments to existing procedures, work instructions, and process instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformities, and quality control activities.
- Conduct detailed inspections of final products, prepare progress reports, evaluate product quality, and monitor production lines.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards and adhere to respective QHSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within HVAC manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality procedures, inspection, and testing of HVAC equipment as per international standards.
- Excellent understanding of QA/QC processes and the ability to fill out inspection forms accurately.
- Knowledge of QHSE standards and the ability to comply with related policies and procedures.
