Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our dental professionals during patient procedures and providing exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities:

Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures, including but not limited to, fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings.
Prepare treatment rooms for procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterilized and readily available.
Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
Educate patients on proper dental hygiene techniques, post-operative care instructions, and treatment plans as prescribed by the dentist.
Maintain accurate patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment notes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Perform dental laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and preparing impression materials.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines and clinic protocols.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing payments as needed.
Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent patient care.
