Digital Media Buyer - PR / SEO

We are looking for a Digital Media Buyer (PR & SEO) to oversee the acquisition of sponsored content, guest post placements, and backlinks across premium digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating and purchasing media placements that drive SEO value and brand visibility for our clients.

This role is perfect for someone with strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and an understanding of digital PR, SEO, and media buying. Prior experience in SEO, digital marketing, media buying, or PR is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

As a Digital Media Buyer (PR & SEO), your role will involve:

1. Media Buying & Negotiation

Identify and secure guest post placements, sponsored articles, and backlinks from high-authority websites.
Negotiate pricing and terms with publishers, bloggers, and media owners to ensure competitive deals.
Build and maintain relationships with publishers to facilitate long-term media buying opportunities.

2. Campaign Planning & Execution

Develop media buying strategies for PR and SEO campaigns based on client objectives.
Work with advertisers and brands to understand their target audience and select the best media opportunities.
Ensure seamless execution of sponsored content and media placements.

3. Market Research & Trend Analysis

Research and identify high-authority websites, digital media platforms, and niche publishers for link-building and PR campaigns.
Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and competitor strategies in SEO, PR, and digital advertising.
Recommend new media opportunities and expansion strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness.

4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

Track and analyze campaign performance, media spend and return on investment (ROI).
Maintain reports on media placements, publisher performance, and pricing trends.
Identify areas for improvement and optimize buying strategies to maximize impact.

5. Cross-Team Collaboration

Work closely with the SEO team to align media buying efforts with link-building and keyword strategies.
Collaborate with the advertiser sales team to match media opportunities with client needs.
Provide insights to the marketing team on emerging media opportunities for brand promotion.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a strategic thinker and skilled negotiator with a passion for digital media, PR, and SEO. You don’t need advanced technical skills, but you should be analytical, resourceful, and eager to secure the best deals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong communication and negotiation skills to secure media placements at the best prices.
Understanding of SEO, PR, and content marketing (basic to intermediate level).
Ability to analyze website authority, traffic metrics, and link-building impact.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and publisher relationships.
A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a passion for digital media buying and outreach.
Experience in SEO, PR, influencer marketing, or media buying is a bonus but not required.
Comfortable using email, LinkedIn, and outreach tools for publisher negotiations.
