We are looking for a proactive Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Management to enhance our procurement, logistics, operations management, and distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management:

Manage purchasing of raw materials, components, and packaging materials.
Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and lead times.

Operations & Inventory Management:

Oversee demand planning, inventory optimization, and material availability to ensure smooth production.
Work closely with production and quality control teams to align supply chain activities.
Implement Lean & Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory management strategies.

Logistics & Distribution:

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including warehousing and transportation.
Ensure on-time delivery of raw materials and finished goods to customers and distributors.
Optimize logistics costs, lead times, and supply chain efficiency.

Marketing & Customer Coordination:

Collaborate with sales & marketing teams to align supply chain processes with customer demands.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure supply chain agility.
Manage export/import documentation and compliance with international trade regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

4-7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations management.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory planning, and procurement strategies.
Understanding of supplier negotiation, demand forecasting, and supply chain risk management.
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, or other supply chain management tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
