We are looking for a proactive Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Management to enhance our procurement, logistics, operations management, and distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management:

  • Manage purchasing of raw materials, components, and packaging materials.
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and lead times.

Operations & Inventory Management:

  • Oversee demand planning, inventory optimization, and material availability to ensure smooth production.
  • Work closely with production and quality control teams to align supply chain activities.
  • Implement Lean & Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory management strategies.

Logistics & Distribution:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including warehousing and transportation.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of raw materials and finished goods to customers and distributors.
  • Optimize logistics costs, lead times, and supply chain efficiency.

Marketing & Customer Coordination:

  • Collaborate with sales & marketing teams to align supply chain processes with customer demands.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure supply chain agility.
  • Manage export/import documentation and compliance with international trade regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4-7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory planning, and procurement strategies.
  • Understanding of supplier negotiation, demand forecasting, and supply chain risk management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, or other supply chain management tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
