Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to join our restaurant's finance team in Jhelum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, along with a passion for the culinary industry. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure the restaurant's financial stability.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support effective financial planning.
Collaborate with the management team to analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
Process payroll and maintain employee records related to compensation and benefits.
Monitor inventory levels and contribute to cost control initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of year-end financial reports and statements for auditing purposes.
Work with external auditors as needed during the audit process.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance department.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in accounting, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
