Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in the .NET framework, particularly in VB.NET, to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on ERP systems, preferably within the textile industry. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP systems and the ability to develop robust, scalable software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework, specifically VB.NET.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Analyze requirements, provide technical solutions, and implement them effectively in ERP systems tailored for the textile industry.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Troubleshoot and debug applications, as well as conduct root cause analysis of system failures.
Maintain code integrity and organization, and ensure best practices in coding standards.
Develop and maintain documentation for software solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the software development industry.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development using the .NET framework, with extensive experience in VB.NET.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with database management and design (SQL Server preferred).
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies is preferred.
