The Corporate Manager of Sales will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations within the company, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring the achievement of corporate sales goals and objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of sales processes and market dynamics. The Corporate Manager of Sales will report directly to the Director of Sales or the Vice President of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, strategies, and performance updates.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement and manage sales tools and technologies to streamline operations and improve productivity.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Track and report on sales performance against targets and objectives.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market segments.
  • Analyze customer needs and preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and coordination.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets and financial projections.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive business growth.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and incorporate best practices into training initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3 to 5 years of Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within a corporate or B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
