Solar Site Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Solar Site Operation Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale solar installations, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency. This role requires excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of solar energy sites, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and within budget.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely project delivery and quality control.
Monitor the performance of solar installations to ensure maximum efficiency and output.
Conduct regular site inspections and maintenance to identify and address any issues or potential improvements.
Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and present regular reports on site performance, project progress, and operational issues.
Train and mentor site personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Handle emergency situations and resolve any operational challenges promptly and effectively.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in managing operations for large-scale solar energy projects.
Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Proficient in using project management and maintenance software.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
Certification in project management (PMP) or related fields is a plus.
