We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD and CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, creating detailed CAD designs, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of machining processes.
Key Responsibilities:
CAD Design and Drafting:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs and drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to develop accurate and precise designs.
- Modify existing CAD designs as needed to meet project requirements.
CNC Machine Operation:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Load raw materials into CNC machines and perform machine adjustments to ensure precision.
- Monitor the machining process to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot defects or issues during the machining process.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Process Improvement:
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC machining and CAD software.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve technical skills.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of machine operations, including setup sheets and maintenance logs.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Document changes and updates to CAD designs for future reference.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in CNC machining or CAD design is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator and AutoCAD designer.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other CAD applications.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, setup, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
