Store Keeper

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to join our team as a Store Keeper at our furniture manufacturing factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels, overseeing stock movements, and ensuring efficient storage and handling of materials.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, including raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions using appropriate systems.
Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent stock outs and production delays.
Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile physical stock with records and investigate discrepancies.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and labelling of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize losses.
Assist in the development and implementation of safety and security measures for the warehouse and inventory.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflow and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse clerk, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of inventory management software and MS Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Knowledge of safety and quality standards for warehouse operations.
