Job Description
As an Informatica Developer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing procedures, functions, database structures, and ETL processes to cater to our customer needs. You carry out your job functions using Informatica tools and technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on development work in the Informatica PowerCenter based on the project requirements
- Support ETL administrator for code deployments to the upper environments
- Support weekend maintenance activities if necessary
- Provide guidance and experience on technical solution implementations
- Perform analysis of data issues and interpret implications of design to ensure data ingestion design meets business and solution needs
- Support team in data analysis that includes data lineage (source and target definition), transformation analysis and design, data mapping
- Design data workflows in Informatica and support analysis of data systems, developing ingestion routines, and assisting in data modeling and analytics
- Develop, maintain, test, and evaluate data ingestion solutions within the platform
- Develop complex SQL queries or PLSQL to meet the business logic
- Develop ETL test cases and test plans
- Assist with code reviews and design creation for new and ongoing projects
- Communicate effectively with the customer and other team members
- Gather and analyze technical information
- Document processes, code, and workflows
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Informatica
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
