Store Manager

As an Inventory Manager at Bega Packages, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient inventory management to support our production processes and meet customer demand. You will oversee the entire inventory control cycle, from procurement to distribution, while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs. Your attention to detail and strategic mindset will contribute to the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Monitoring and Analysis:

Utilize inventory management software to monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and analyze data trends.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Analyze inventory performance metrics and generate reports to inform decision-making.

Procurement and Replenishment:

Collaborate with procurement team to forecast inventory needs and place orders accordingly.
Optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.

Inventory Optimization:

Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and implement strategies for clearance or disposal.
Work cross-functionally with production, sales, and finance teams to align inventory goals with business objectives.

Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate inventory management processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Streamline receiving, storage, and distribution processes to minimize lead times and improve inventory turnover.
Implement best practices for inventory control and train team members as needed.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to inventory management.
Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
