Telesales Representative - Dispatch

Are you a highly organized and efficient individual with a passion for coordinating logistics and providing exceptional customer service? We are currently seeking a dedicated Taxi Dispatcher to join our team and contribute to the smooth and efficient operations of our taxi service.

Responsibilities:

Receive and manage incoming requests for taxi services from customers via phone
Dispatch available taxis to customers based on location, destination, and taxi availability.
Monitor and track the progress of taxi drivers. ensuring timely pickup and drop-off of passengers.
Coordinate with drivers to optimize routes and minimize customer wait times.
Communicate with customers to provide estimated arrival times and updates on taxi status.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
Collaborate with other dispatchers and team members to ensure seamless coordination of taxi operations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a dispatcher
Proficiency in using dispatching software and GPS systems to efficiently allocate resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions quickly.
Knowledge of local streets, routes, and landmarks is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the demands of the business.
