- Development, implement, and manage the company’s information security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Maintain and continuously improve the organization’s security posture.
- Assist in conducting internal/ external Vulnerability Assessment activity.
- Perform regular security risk assessments and recommend mitigating actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Etc.) and internal policies.
- Assist security audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments activities.
- SIEM Solution Log review and develop policies for finding false and actual incident.
- Provide guidance on secure architecture, cloud security, and endpoint protection.
- Monitor emerging security technologies and trends to ensure cutting-edge defenses.
- Manage relationships with security vendors, consultants, and service providers.
- Ensure third-party vendors comply with the organization’s security requirements.
- Work with Managed SOC Team to perform daily activities related to log review and SOC team management
- Oversee the implementation of security technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, anti-virus software).

ASA Microfinance Bank (Pakistan) Limited (formerly ASA Pakistan Ltd) is wholly owned subsidiary of ASA International, incorporated under the Microfinance Institution Ordinance 2001. Commenced its operations in September, 2008. Microfinance sector in Pakistan has demonstrated a robust growth over the last decade; however, it has still a long way to lead. The sector was initially dominated by the government sponsored rural support programs and NGOs who were working for social development and providing microcredit services. The scenario has been changed significantly over the past many years with the inclusion of some specialized microfinance institutions. Despite growing interest (both state and commercial) in the MF sector, there is still a huge gap in demand and supply in the Pakistani MF Market. This large gap encouraged ASA International to achieve it mission to financially empowering the poorest of Pakistan.
