Responsibilities:

Develop, update, and maintain GIS databases and digitization related to solid waste management, including collection routes, landfill sites, recycling centers, and waste generation patterns.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality through regular audits and validation processes.
Spatial analysis to identify trends in waste generation and disposal, optimizing waste collection routes, landfill site selection, and facility placement for maximum efficiency.
Analyze geographic data to optimize waste collection routes, landfill site selection, and facility placement.
Manage GIS applications, perform data analysis, and create detailed maps and reports to support operational decision-making.
Generate vector data and work proficiently with GIS software such as ArcGIS; handle spatial data formats such as KML, Shapefile, etc.
Create maps, conduct spatial analysis, and provide insights by creating spatial data from scratch or adapting existing datasets.
Develop custom GIS applications and dashboards to display relevant data for transparency.
