Monitoring patient’s condition and assessing their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and do self assesment of patients.
Monitoring the health of pregnant women and their unborn babies.
Delivering patients’ babies in labour room as well as providing emotional support and encouragement during labor.
Teaching patients with pain management techniques to prepare them for labor.
Taking and recording patients blood pressure, temperature, and pulse as well as execute diagnostic tests as per consultant/doctors order. Maintain medication charts as per SOPs.
Helping patients and their partners to cope with miscarriages, stillbirths, neonatal deaths, and terminations.
Teaching new mothers how to feed their newborns.
Assisting patients in creating suitable birth plans.
Follow comprehensive nursing care plans for patients.
Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
Observing and interpreting patient’s symptoms and communicating them to physicians
Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
Maintain complete and accurate patient records. Do proper chartings and documentation.
Follow Nursing Care & Santisation Protocols. Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.
