Monitoring patient’s critical condition and assessing their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and do self assessment of patients.
Follow comprehensive nursing care plans for patients.
Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
Observing and interpreting patient’s symptoms and communicating them to physicians/consultants.
Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
Maintain complete and accurate patient records. Do proper chartings and documentation.
Supervise and train junior technicians and assistants/trainees
Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
Completes appropriate documentation in accordance with hospital guidelines.
Adheres to all procedures related to infection control principles.
Provides assistance orienting to proper use and care of equipment and on location of supplies.
Identifies and responds promptly to patient needs, respecting dignity and privacy.
Provides and maintains a safe and orderly environment for patient care, i.e., side rails up, safe transport to other units.
