Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end import process, including coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Prepare and process all necessary import documentation, such as shipping invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including import restrictions, trade regulations, and customs duties.
Collaborate with internal departments to monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate product availability.
Conduct customs valuation, classification, and tariff analysis to determine the most cost-effective importation methods.
Monitor and track shipments, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to stakeholders.
Resolve any import-related issues or delays, communicating with the relevant parties to find suitable solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience working in import and export, preferably in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex import situations and make sound decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
Proficiency in using import and logistics software.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
