The Chief Accountant oversees financial accounting, reporting directly to the CEO. Leading a team, the role ensures accurate financial statements, budget compliance, and strategic financial support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely, compliant financial statements.
- Deliver comprehensive financial reports to the CEO.
- Collaborate on annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and provide insights into budgetary performance.
- Lead and mentor accounting professionals.
- Conduct performance reviews and development plans.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls.
- Address and enhance control procedures.
- Manage relationships with auditors.
- Address audit findings and implement corrections.
- Oversee tax compliance activities.
- Stay updated on tax law changes.
- Conduct financial analysis for insights.
- Provide CEO with performance insights and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10+ Years of experience.
- Proven senior finance experience, strong leadership skills.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking.
