- Prepare and label samples for various diagnostic tests specific to cancer care.
- Assist in the collection of specimens.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after blood collection
- Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients about the blood draw process and address any concerns
- Document patient information and laboratory results accurately
- Adhere to all regulations and standards related to oncology and phlebotomy.
- Provide emotional support to patients during blood collection procedures
