Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions accurately.
- Ensure medications are properly labeled and packaged.
- Assist Pharmacist in handling medication storage, and proper disposal.
- Assist in medication counseling under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Communicate with patients about their medications, ensuring they understand usage instructions and potential side effects.
- Assist in ordering, receiving, and organizing stock.
- Monitor expiration dates and manage inventory.
- Support the pharmacist in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
- Follow all pharmacy protocols for medication handling, storage, and dispensing.
- Monitor the pharmacy environment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization.
Qualifications
- Matric with Science with Pharmacy Technician diploma recognized by Pharmacy Council/
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
