The hospital pharmacist helps in designing of the product specification as per drug formulary.
The resource collects demands of user departments.
The resource generates, forecasted for the stock to be procured.
The resource prepares the bills forwarded by concerned store and forward it procurement and finance department.
The resource forward the bills for payment.
The resource follows good store practices of medicine as needed cold chain, cool dry place and keeps the temperature log.
The resource assesses the identity, strength and purity of medications
The resource looks into the batch wise shelf life of the inventory and update procurement team for possible replacement/ return.
The resource maintains the expiry colander and intimate the timely replacement of short shelf life commodities.
The resource tracks the slow moving, dead items and gets the replacement based on the actual consumption data, if any.
The resource prepares sterile solutions and infusions for use in surgical procedures, emergency rooms, or patients' homes.
The resource plans, implements, and maintains procedures for mixing, packaging, and labelling drugs/pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements, to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal.
The resource is responsible for the narcotics /control items record keeping and double lock storage, return of the empty vials and the condemnation as per policy.
The resource updates the requirements of changes/anomalies in management information system for inventory and internal controls relevant to stock.
The resource works on the consumption and highlight unusual changes and variances. The resource checks physical inventory as per monthly closing of inventory module.
The resource develops monthly reporting formats and structure to be reported to gm logistic.
The resource would report adverse drug events to manager store and would be taken under pharmacovigilance centre of the hospital.
The resource manage therapeutics goods information/ poison control centre in hospital and respond the related quires.
The resource complies strictly sops on infection control and waste management
The resource will conduct training to the pharmacy staff.
