Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases.
Perform surgical procedures related to the eye.
Prescribe and manage treatment plans for patients with eye disorders, including medications, corrective lenses, and therapeutic interventions.
Provide emergency eye care services for conditions such as eye injuries, acute infections, and sudden vision changes.
Educate patients about their eye conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure they understand their diagnosis and treatment plan.
Address patient concerns and inquiries in a compassionate and professional manner.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as optometrists, primary care physicians, and specialists, to coordinate patient care and manage complex cases.
Provide consultations and second opinions for patients referred from other healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and patient safety protocols.
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives as required.
Any other relevant task assigned by line manager
