- Assist in developing and executing procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships, including identification, evaluation, and performance reviews.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Implement and track cost-saving initiatives to optimize procurement spending.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and supply chain issues to make informed procurement decisions.
- Support the Procurement Manager in strategic planning and special projects as required.
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Procurement Manager at Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital in Rawalpindi. The Assistant Procurement Manager will be responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, analytical skills, procurement, and contract management on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications:
- MBA/BBA in Supply-Chain Management.
- 5-7 years of professional Experience.
- Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation skills
- Analytical Skills for data assessment and decision-making
