Al-Noor Sugar Mills Ltd. (MDF Board) is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Internal Audit Officer to enhance our internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The Internal Audit Officer will primarily focus on risk assessment, compliance auditing, and evaluating financial reporting processes to identify areas for improvement. This role requires a strong understanding of internal controls and risk management practices, as well as proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, be highly organized, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and operational processes.
Assess organizational risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them through effective internal controls.
Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations for management.
Evaluate financial statements and compliance with applicable regulations to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Assist in the development and implementation of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
Collaborate with management to identify risks and facilitate improvement initiatives in compliance practices.
Monitor and review financial reporting processes to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Increase awareness of compliance issues within the organization through regular communication and training sessions.
Perform fraud detection activities and reporting, providing insights into suspicious transactions and anomalies.
Utilize advanced computer skills to analyze data efficiently and develop audit tools to enhance auditing processes.
