We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our eCom team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the financial health of our e-commerce operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a thorough understanding of e-commerce financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, and returns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all e-commerce activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and budget analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the eCom team to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Perform internal audits and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
