We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team.
The intern will work closely with project managers, department heads and gain hands-on experience in managing and executing various projects within the organization. This role is ideal for individuals looking to kick-start their careers in project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project manager in planning, executing, and closing projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and reports.
- Participate in project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Track project progress and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.
- Conduct research on project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Assist in risk management and issue resolution processes.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification courses in project management would be preferred.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
