The Head of Development will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project development from inception to completion. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in managing large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the development team, aligning it with company goals and market trends.
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire development process, including feasibility studies, design, construction, and project closeout, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, architects, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery and company reputation.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform development strategies and project opportunities.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on large-scale projects, particularly skyscrapers.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and financial acumen.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and engage with various stakeholders effectively.
