Fiber Technician (Laminator)

He/she shall be responsible for providing Fiber Technician related support whereby facilitating vigilance towards all official building, temporary / fixed assets therein and official documents, files etc. being maintained at the Boatyard.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

Resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems and ensure that they work properly
Examine and replace faulty and old fiber optic cables and also organize scheduled maintenance routines
Take care of fiber splicing and rectify fiber optic problem areas
Ensuring tasks are completed and updating the operations manager on daily basis.
Make sure equipment’s are well kept and taken care of.
Actively participate in Human Resources, Learning and Development initiatives that will help the departments to deliver higher levels of service to our clients and our compliance to good health and safety practices at the workplace.
To support by assisting with on-the-job training and orientation of new team members/trainees and other reasonable requests in order to improve the performance and service standards of our team.
