The Instructor for Web Designing and Amazon Virtual Assistant (VA) at The Hunar Foundation is responsible for delivering high-quality training and education in web design and Amazon VA skills. The role involves creating a dynamic learning environment that engages students and equips them with the practical skills needed to succeed in the digital marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development:
- Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and hands-on projects for web designing and Amazon VA training.
- Ensure the curriculum is aligned with current industry standards and technological advancements.
- Teaching and Training:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in web designing (including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and design tools) and Amazon VA tasks (such as product listing, keyword research, inventory management, and customer service).
- Provide personalized guidance and support to students, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Industry Collaboration:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in web design and e-commerce, particularly Amazon.
- Establish connections with industry professionals to enhance the learning experience and provide students with networking opportunities.
- Student Development:
- Mentor students in their career development, including resume building, portfolio creation, and interview preparation.
- Organize and participate in career fairs, industry visits, and guest lectures to expose students to real-world scenarios.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and other institutional activities as required.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Certification or professional experience in web designing and Amazon Virtual Assistant tasks is highly desirable.
- Proven teaching experience or a strong passion for education and skill development.
- Proficiency in web design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and e-commerce platforms, particularly Amazon Seller Central.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and needs.
Key Skills:
- Web Design: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, UI/UX principles.
- Amazon VA: Product listing, keyword optimization, order management, customer service.
- Project Management: Time management, organization, and multi-tasking.
- Educational Tools: Experience with online teaching platforms, e-learning software, and virtual classroom management.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in web design and Amazon VA roles.
- Prior experience in a teaching or training capacity is preferred.

The Hunar Foundation
Registered in 2008 under the Societies Act 1860, Hunar Foundations took its first batch in January 2010 in premises supplied by Delhi Mercantile Society, Karachi in its DMS School facility. The students gave their City & Guilds exam at the end of the year and till 2019 14 batches had graduated with one year diplomas. Since then Hunar has added its Rashidabad (near Tando Allah Yar), Lahore (Bedian Road), Multan (Pak Arab Fertilizer) and Kharian campuses as well as a women’s institute in Karachi that started in 2015 and is in the process of relocation to a new modern upgraded facility. By end of 2019 two more institutes are added in Korangi (Karachi), one for women and one for men. Korangi campus is targeted to host a state of the art Teacher’s Training and Excellence Center. Hunar Foundation’s key objective is to provide school graduates and other young adults with international standard vocational training that meets the expectations of the market, leading to employment or small business creation – and eventually economic freedom and empowerment.
