PowerBI Specialist

At Softvira, we are seeking a skilled PowerBI Specialist to join our team. This role involves harnessing the capabilities of PowerBI to create insightful data visualizations and reports that support data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and SQL, enabling them to efficiently produce, manage, and present data in an engaging format. With at least 5 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that fuel business growth and efficiency. As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate complex data sets into understandable and visually appealing reports. This role does not entail managing a team, allowing you to focus on your expertise in data analysis and reporting.Responsibilities

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Utilize DAX and Power Query to create complex calculations and data transformations that enhance report functionality.
Design and implement robust data models to support business intelligence initiatives and ensure data integrity.
Conduct ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights that meet business objectives.
Continuously optimize existing reports and dashboards for performance and usability, incorporating user feedback.
Monitor and analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
Train end-users on how to utilize PowerBI tools and features, enhancing their data literacy and self-service analytics capabilities.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies while handling sensitive business information.
Stay up to date with the latest PowerBI features and best practices to continually improve reporting standards and methodologies.
