Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a non-governmental organization based in France that promotes international solidarity. Founded in 1991, SIF intends to bring relief and protect the lives of those threatened by natural disasters, armed conflicts, or economic collapse. SIF intervenes in more than 30 countries around the world through emergency relief, recovery, and development initiatives. It carries out operations in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Its goal is to help affected communities and bring relief to the people in need throughout the world, regardless of their origin, religion, gender or political association.

Objective 1: Development of Manuals and activity implementation

Development of training manuals for the relevant activities.
Prepare an activity implementation plan and discuss the required resources to undertake the. activity
Develop detailed TORs for the assigned activities.
Conduct training sessions for community-based trainers.
Participate in other activities related to the project activities.

Objective 2: Selection and training of the community-based volunteers

Ensure that suitable community-based trainers are identified and selected for the proposed activities
Train the community-based trainers on the relevant concepts
Ensure that performance meets the defined standards
Conduct refresher sessions for the CBT Trainers
Provide regular feedback to increase the effectiveness of achieving the desired objectives
Performing other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Objective 3: Monitoring and Reporting

Conduct daily field visits and submit field visit reports.
Monitor all the community-based trainers.
Ensure that CBTs are following the signed TORs.
Prepare and submit weekly progress reports well on time
Prepare activity completion reports for budgeted activities against defined standards/formats
Prepare any other reports when required/asked by the supervisor

Objective 4: Representation and attend meetings:

Participate in meetings with main stakeholders in the area
Actively participate in staff meetings

Note: This position is required on an urgent basis, we recruit on a rolling basis and is contingent upon donor funding. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
