ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION

Based in Islamabad, Cleaner works under the supervision of the Sr. Logistics Officer, Islamabad. He/She will be responsible for office and guest house cleaning.

He/she is:

· For keeping the office and Guest House clean and sanitary.

· Ensure SIF cleaning SOPs concerning the SIF office and Guest House.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Objective 1: Cleaning: Activities:

Responsible for cleaning the office and Expat Guest House.
Responsible for dusting windows, tables, chairs, and all other machinery daily.
Cleans/washes/disinfects toilets, mirrors, walls, etc. in washrooms.
Replenishes paper supplies and soap, as required.
Ensuring a germ-free kitchen by cleaning different utensils used in the kitchen on time.
Manage stocks of guest house and office (toilet tissues, cleaning products,) and request logistics department when needed.
Report to the supervisor regarding the need for new supplies, missing/damaged items or any repairs required
Wash cleaning clothes for office and guesthouses regularly (do not mix with normal clothes).
Assist Cook in serving food and tea to country office staff/guests

Objective 2: Guest house Maintenance Activities:

Clean Guest house tidy Guest house corridors, bathrooms, bedrooms and dining rooms
Take care of laundry for expat staff in the guest house
Wash bed sheets and pillow covers weekly.
Any other tasks requested by his/her supervisor

This list is not limited; the employee may be required to perform any other task necessary and compatible with its functions.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/BEHAVIOR

Can read and write
Able to understand local & Urdu (English may be preferred but not required)
Have at least 1 year of experience working with INGO/ NGO.
Passion for hygiene, flexibility, reliability and ability to work at a fast pace
Must possess honesty and a can-do attitude
Ability to work under pressure
