The Security Manager at SAN plays a vital role in protecting the organization's assets, personnel, and property through comprehensive security management strategies. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong corporate background and at least five years of experience in risk management, security policy development, and compliance regulatory knowledge. The Security Manager directs and oversees a team of 140 security personnel, fostering a culture of vigilance and preparedness. This individual not only designs and implements effective security policies but also ensures compliance with industry regulations and standards. As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for assessing potential risks, developing safety protocols, and leading investigative responses to security incidents, ultimately contributing to the overall safety and assurance of the companys operations.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and enforce comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and personnel.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate controls to mitigate identified risks.
Oversee the daily operations of the security team, ensuring effective deployment of personnel across various sites.
Train and mentor security staff to ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures, fostering a culture of security awareness.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into business operations.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security systems, making improvements as necessary.
Act as the primary contact with local law enforcement and emergency services, ensuring effective communication during security incidents.
Conduct investigations into security breaches and incidents, documenting findings and making recommendations for process improvements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements and industry regulations to ensure all security initiatives meet legal standards.
Prepare and present regular reports on security operations and incidents to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and updates on procedures.
