The Operations Manager at Roomi LLC plays a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the operational processes across various business lines, including retail stores, gas stations, car rental services, and property management. This position requires a skilled leader to manage a team of 20 professionals, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management abilities, coupled with exceptional analytical skills and a deep understanding of customer relationship management. They will drive initiatives that not only enhance operational efficiency but also support the growth and success of the company. A key focus will be on optimizing processes and improving overall performance, all while maintaining a customer-centric approach amidst a fast-paced and diverse work environment.
Responsibilities

  • Support the seamless operation of retail stores, gas stations, car rental businesses, and property management through collaboration with onsite staff.
  • Act as the technical liaison between the design and construction team for new development projects; prioritize and manage site permitting and construction activities effectively.
  • Develop and refine business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency while keeping a vigilant eye on cost control and resource allocation.
  • Create strategic programs encompassing change control, training, material management, and vendor management to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Identify and implement creative solutions to optimize operating costs, ensuring that contractors and vendors uphold quality service standards in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and oversee metrics related to store sales and inventory; collect and analyze substantial datasets to inform the creation of machine learning models designed to reduce inventory holding costs and improve profitability.
  • Contribute to the development of the strategic framework for franchising the business model, exploring avenues for expansion and growth.
  • Leverage strong organizational skills to think strategically, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Plan, manage, and execute events, both digital and in-person, to promote engagement and support business initiatives.
  • Build responsive and effective operational frameworks while collaborating with store and restaurant managers to enhance current methods and define new strategies.
  • Mentor and facilitate the onboarding of new team members, fostering an inclusive and productive team environment.
  • Lead or co-lead projects and initiatives of various scales, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective execution.
