We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in basic finance-related skills and a knack for numbers, as well as a proactive attitude and a "fifth sense" for identifying discrepancies and opportunities in financial data. You will be responsible for supporting the finance team in managing day-to-day financial tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily financial data entry and transaction recording.
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations.
- Support in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Work with finance-related software, including QuickBooks, to process transactions
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
- Conduct financial analysis and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Identify discrepancies in financial data and report findings promptly.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform general administrative duties related to finance.
Skills Required:
- Project financing
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
- Proficiency in finance-related software, especially QuickBooks. (Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new financial processes and tools.
- Analytical mindset with a "fifth sense" for identifying errors and anomalies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
