An International Non-Governmental Organization. Since the inception of organization services in Pakistan in early 1992, the organization reflects its greater scope of work to respond to extreme poverty and the Government’s priorities. Organization through its field offices enabled itself to strategically address the developmental and humanitarian needs at the very local level. Organization is undertaking programmes associated with the socio-economic development of the Country. The projects are categorized under six program pillars: Youth Leadership & Social Protection, Education, Provision of WASH, Health (with a focus on MNCH), Economic Empowerment & Sustainable Livelihood (EESL) and Disaster Response & Preparedness (DRP), along with its Seasonal Programs like meat distribution, Ramadhan program, etc. In Pakistan, Organization is having its country office in Islamabad and field offices in KPK, Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, and AJK.
Manage Organization’s Social Protection Program around the station of his/her responsibilities. Furnish reports and data feedback for donors using Organization Portal or another assigned medium. Maintain close coordination and working relationships with government departments and fellow non-governmental organizations, conduct assessment, verification, follow up and validation activities and ensure the required program control mechanism is followed in dealing with beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Introduce Organization's RRP program to the local communities, mobilization & sensitization regarding the PATS Plus approach.
- Carry out field-related project activities and their reporting on prescribed formats.
- Maintaining good relations with communities, notables, and local contact persons to involve them in project activities and seek their support wherever required.
- Assist in developing a social mobilization strategy and spatial planning for Organization project.
- Mobilize/sensitize local communities towards project activities.
- Develop village profile/ ODK, identification of CRPs & assessment of beneficiaries for ODF intervention, CIGs and other supplies (NFIs/ Food items) as per established criteria.
- Coordinate closely with the project team for timely implementation of Organization interventions.
- Undertake regular field visits, conduct surveys, and data collection/ need assessments.
- Identify problems and propose remedial actions.
- Visits to construction sites to observe the quality of construction work is as per quality, standard, and design.
- Identify alternative courses of action and accelerate/improve project delivery.
- Prepare reports on the areas where Organization work can be carried out using specific tools for gathering data, prepare the evaluation phases and implement the recommendations.
- Prepare & submit weekly/ monthly work plans & progress reports to the Project Officer.
- Conduct triggering with community (male & female) members using PRA tools for mobilization, demand creation and achieving ODF status of village.
- Conduct BCC/ hygiene promotion sessions at schools, HCF & communities.
- Capacity building of CRPs, VWCs, and entrepreneurs on PATS Plus approach & to attain ODF status.
- Provide support in Sanitation Marketing related activities.
- Facilitate external & internal visits i.e. Donor, Government & Organization field visits including ODF committee visits.
- Roll out of project activities as per DIP & available budget.
- Prepare weekly/ monthly work plans and progress reports and ensure/ maintain all types of record keeping at the community level.
- Maintain project data, pictures, and MOVs and regularly update the data.
- Providing data of the field to the Monitoring & Evaluation Section on time.
- Responsible for coordination with all stakeholders (relevant Govt. Departments) at the Union Council/ village and district level.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor as per job requirements.
