Job Responsibilities

Daily processing of prepaid expense schedules and fixed asset registrations
Monitoring and preparing the month-end inventory process, including compiling and reconciling inventory counts across all offices and preparing all inventory entries
Preparing month-end close entries including prepaid expense amortization, depreciation/amortization, operating and finance leases, accruals
Reconciling various account balances, including identifying, investigating, and clearing variances
Assisting in annual audits with the external auditors, including preparing and presenting requested reports and supporting documentation
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

Highly detail-oriented and organized
Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Familiarity with accounting software and programs
More than three years of general accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a private corporate environment
Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance
