I, Atteqa Safdar, am a dedicated research fellow specializing in applied biosciences with a strong foundation in pharmacology and drug development. I hold a Pharm.D from Hamdard University, an MSc in Pharmacology with distinction from the University of Bedfordshire, and am currently pursuing a PhD at NUST, Islamabad, supported by a merit-based ICT Endowment Fund scholarship.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed expertise in cell culture, protein and DNA purification, and advanced analytical techniques such as GCMS, FTIR, and XRD. My research has focused on phytochemical profiling, molecular immunology, and translational medicine, with a keen interest in uncovering therapeutic applications of phytomedicine and advancing drug discovery.
I have also contributed to academia as a senior lecturer and published scholarly articles on topics such as histamine receptors and defensins in innate immunity. My passion for research drives me to explore molecular and cellular targets to address complex diseases, and I am eager to collaborate with teams dedicated to impactful healthcare advancements.
