I am highly passionate, smart, innovative Human Resource and Admin Manager. My recent experience is working at Tariq Electric (Pvt.) Ltd. as Human Resource and Admin Manager. Considering my interest, the management entrusted me with multiple capacities giving exposure on various aspects of running the company. I have worked in a number of leading firms in Pakistan, both Public and Private sectors, learned a lot and was lucky enough to apply my knowledge and mind to significantly enhance the motivation, loyalty, retention of employees and minimize the labour cost by inducting labour deployment & efficiency plan and also make smoothen the productivity with quality through the succession & quality deployment plan.
I am a highly motivated person and have the ability to persevere in the most stressful of situations. In Associated Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd., I was also trusted by my management to work there as Head of Department and Establish the HR/Admin Department.
I earned my Master degree in Business Administration (in the COLs Program an international program conducting in several Common Wealth countries) from Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad which is one the most prestigious universities in Pakistan. My key skills include Contract Designing, Policy Making, Payroll Management, Pay Package Negotiation and Designing, designing and implementation of Perks & Benefits for employees as discussed and decided by the management, designing and implementation of Business Staffing Plan and Positioning alongwith succession plan, General Purchase & Procurement and Vendor Management, relevant documentation / correspondence, Grievance Handling, Security Management, Dealing and manipulation of PESSI & EOBI Benefits, Adequate knowledge about Industrial & Commercial Employment (Standing Orders) Ordinance 1968, Factory Act 1934, Payment & Wages Act 1936, Contract Agreement Act 1872, sufficient knowledge in implementation of HRIS, PMS and Industrial Relation and Labour Policies.
Introduction With the Company
Tariq Electric (Pvt) Ltd is the major manufacturer of Electrical Distribution and Control Equipment in the country supplying Medium Voltage Metal-Clad and Metal Enclosed Panels, Low Voltage Panel boards, Lighting and Distribution Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Generator Control Panels, Control Panels and Consoles, Unit Substations and all type of Switchgear for Outdoor and Indoor installation, to public and private commercial & industrial sectors.
I have to look after all HR and Admin Functions for Two Units of the Company.
Responsibilities
Here, I have been hired as HR/Admin Manager; being Head of Department my responsibilities are as under:-
Responsible for all human resource activities that includes employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, and training and development.
Screening job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding hiring.
Designing and placing Job ads on web portals, newspapers etc.
Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies and other recruitment sources.
Prepare and maintain company salary structure (Payroll).
Design and conduct new employee orientations.
Administer and explain benefits to employees.
Help in recommending, developing and scheduling training and development courses.
Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
Preparation of final Settlements.
Prepares official letters and letters related to employees such as offer letters, promotions and increment letters, warnings, circulars, duty roasters etc.
Documentation and record management of benefits plans such as medical claims, PESSI, EOBI pension claim and life insurance.
Documentation / preparation and record management of monthly mobile bills and OPD./ hospitalization medical claims of employees.
Dealing EOBI and PESSI matters
Dealing day to day employee relations/issues.
• Design, organize and implement strategies, objectives, policies, procedures and programs which encompassing all aspects of Human Resource Management to support the accomplishment of business objectives.
• Designing and advertising the new jobs
• Conduct interviews and prepare recommendations for the suitable candidates and proceedings for further necessary actions in this regard.
• Negotiation with selected candidates for their salary and other benefits
• Conduct orientation of newly hired employees
• Getting all forms filled related to new employees Joining and making personal files
• Coordinating bank account opening of newly hired employees for salary purposes
• Coordinate in evaluation of probationary period and issue appointment letter and other necessary formalities.
• Manage Personal Files of each employee
• Perform detailed reference check of newly hired employees as per company policy
• Process employee confirmations on monthly basis.
• Maintain record of employee personal files
• Advise higher-ups in organizational planning, recruitment, career development, training, compensation and benefits, grievance handling etc.
• Develop and implement Policies, Procedures and Programs.
• Recruitment, placements, promotions, increments, terminations / separations, leaves, etc. of allied staff.
• Preparation salary increment proposal, job changes, new positions and other benefits.
• Maintain personnel records of allied staff of the Company.
• Formulation and implementation of an effective career planning and personnel development system.
• Make necessary changes in rules and regulations of the company.
• Performance Appraisals / Annual Performance Evaluation Reports of all kind of Employees including contractual and permanent workers etc.
