Executive Store and Procurement (Yarn)
There are two core operations to which i am accountable for, (a) Management Operations and (b) Computer Operations.(a) Management Operations: Communicate with suppliers, upper management and production planning to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction. Keep logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. Determine quantity, quality and timing of deliveries. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. Invent ways to optimize inventory control procedures. Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages. Assisting auditors in inventory audits. Make sure proper stacking and tagging/labeling of yarn bags/cartons/pallets. Make certain safety measures of loading and off loading of yarn vehicles. Make certain safety measures in case of emergency with the help of EHS deptt. Coordinate with R&D department and provide them samples of yarn from different vendors.Computer Operations: Generate purchase requisitions (PR) in ERP system on behalf of production departments and turning them into purchase orders (PO) after approval of quotations and term of payment. Email daily purchase tracking report to inventory officer for generation of goods receipt note (GRN) and cross check them from sale contract or commercial/sales tax invoices every next morning. Initiate items/vendors in ERP system. Make monthly waste receiving report department wise in ms excel.
